Departments

We're excited to launch our new module in Laddash called Departments. The goal of this module is to assign cases to team members more easily and track manufacturing progress at each step.

What are Departments?

Departments are a way for a lab owner to group Products and Users in a group. You can assign a Case to a department based on Job Types (Zirconia, PFM, Acrylic, etc).

How Departments are useful?

Advantages of Departments

  • Departments help you organize your team tasks and help you understand who is working in which case.

  • Departments are useful when you're using WorkBench Application.

  • Assign the case to between the team members equally reducing the workload on individual members.

  • Track the performance of Each team member and the Department's quality. Improving the overall quality.

How to use Departments?

Create Department

  • Go to `Products` and Click on Create > Department.

  • Make sure you have created staff members and products for that department before. You can also edit Departments later.

    Create Departmenrts
  • Enter the Name of the Departments

  • Select Products and Staff members for that department.

NOTE: Cases that have Selected products will be assigned to selected staff members. Staff members can be part of multiple departments.

  • Fill the details and Click Create

Assign a Case to the Department.

Based on the product, the department will be automatically selected on the case entry view. Also, a staff member will be assigned to that case in a round-robin method. You can change the Staff if you wish to do so.
